Homemade Natural Hair Growth Recipes

Using essential oils in hair growth recipes will stimulate the follicles and promote regrowth, and these can easily be made at home.

Your hair should grow naturally in a continuous process but sometimes due to health issues, medication, stress or trauma there is a gap between the old hair falling out and the new hair growing.  The result can be a thinning of the hair.

Hair loss is normal – we lose about 100 hairs a day.  But too much more than that could be of concern.

If you are losing a lot of hair and it is worrying you, it’s best to get it checked by a doctor to eliminate medical causes.

What Causes Too Much Loss of Hair?

A substantial loss of hair may be due to factors like:

  • Trauma
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Medications
  • Stress
  • Illness
  • Nutrient deficiency

There are activities which will aggravate an already precarious situation with hair thinning or loss.

These include:

  • Chlorinated swimming pools
  • Shampooing your hair too frequently
  • Heavy conditioning treatments
  • Using shampoos which are not PH balanced

Hair Growth Can be Stimulated

  First, watch your diet.

A balanced diet rich in protein, zinc, iron and B vitamins will improve the quality of your hair.

Stimulate the blood flow to the head by massaging the scalp.
